      Exline, William H
My Greatgrand daddy was William Exline, I know he was born in Indiana around 1846. He moved to Angleton Texas sometime before 1900. He had that I know of three daughters and two sons. Their names were Venetta, Jane,Nora, William Jr. and John. They had a farm located either on the Chocolate Bayou or Bastrop Bayou. in the 1890's through the early 1900's. I know that he died in 1931 and is buried in the Old Angleton Cemetery along with somemore of my family members. If anyone has more information about my greatgrand dad, please contact me. My dad remembers some about him, but he was only five years old when he passed away. Regards, Mike Exline P.O. Box 526 Hardin, Texas 77565

      Izilla Zerelda Victoria EVANS
Izilla Zerelda Victoria EVANS was born in MS (per census) 1853, her father b in TN, and her mother b MS.

Victoria was married to William Andrew GANNON, in Rusk county TX in 1875.

All their children were b in Rusk county. In 1910 they moved to DeSoto Parish, LA where they died.

Family heresay tells that the EVANS were also in east TX, that Victoria's mother died and her father remarried a woman named Chewing.

I searched for several days in MS 1860 census for a fam that had a girl child named any of those names, and found none. Don't know whether I missed them, or whether they had already gone to TX by 1860. Have not yet gotten to search TX 1860 / 1870 census for them.

And that, World, is all I know about them at this moment. If anyone out there knows anything about these EVANS, I sure would appreciate hearing from you.
